Every successful travel assignment starts long before day one, with someone making sure all the details are in place. At Cariant Health Partners, that someone is Olivia Eighme.
As Cariant’s Senior Compliance Specialist, Olivia plays a key role in managing the details that ensure our travelers are ready for a smooth first day. From verifying licenses and gathering documentation to managing background checks and tracking expirations throughout an assignment, she’s the organizational engine that keeps Cariant’s compliance process moving forward.
“The best part of my job is getting that final clearance and sending out first-day instructions,” says Olivia. “It’s this quiet but meaningful moment. I know I played a part in helping someone start their next chapter.”
Preparing Travelers for Success
Credentialing in travel healthcare isn’t always straightforward. Requirements vary by state, facility and profession. Things can change with little notice. For Olivia, that unpredictability is part of the challenge she enjoys. “No two days look the same, and I kind of love that. I’m always learning something new.”
To stay on top of everything, Olivia is a big believer in structure: checklists, plans and staying calm under pressure. “I thrive on organization. I’ve always been the person who makes a list just to check things off.”
Empathy and patience are a big part of what makes Olivia so effective, especially when balancing speed with thoughtful attention.
But what really sets Olivia apart is how she supports travelers when the process gets overwhelming. “I remind them they’re not alone. We’re a team, and I’m here to make this easier.”
Managing Details with Care
Day-to-day, Olivia works in close contact with recruiters and account managers to keep everyone aligned and moving forward. “We talk constantly—calls, emails, Teams messages. I couldn’t do this without them. We all have different roles, but we share the same goal.”
Outside of work, Olivia’s laid-back energy keeps her grounded. She’s a self-proclaimed picky eater (“Dinosaur nuggets and pizza rolls forever”) and a lover of all things cozy, including cuddles with her cat, Jasmine, lounging poolside, yoga classes and power walks. She also has a long-standing love for dance, having performed for over a decade.
Where does she see herself in five or ten years? “I know I want to be happy,” says Olivia. “That’s the goal.”
And if the satisfaction of a cleared credential file reveals anything, it’s that Olivia’s already making a difference, one assignment at a time.
