Cariant Health Partners Awarded Certification from The Joint Commission 13 Years in a Row

During the week between Christmas and New Year’s, Cariant underwent an on-site evaluation conducted by specially trained Joint Commission surveyors who assessed our organization’s compliance to their standards. According to their website, The Joint Commission was founded in 1951 and is the nation’s oldest and largest standards-setting and accrediting body in health care. As an independent, not-for-profit organization, The Joint Commission seeks to continuously improve health care for the public, in collaboration with other stakeholders, by evaluating health care organizations and inspiring them to excel in providing safe and effective care of the highest quality and value.

Cariant has been certified with the Joint Commission since 2009. While we are used to receiving the Gold Seal of Approval, this year we passed the evaluation with zero deficiencies, which is a first for our organization! This is no small feat, especially during the ever-changing environment we are currently in with Covid-19. The team was impressed with our well-kept records, our overall organization, and with our adherence to our policies and procedures.

We want to make sure our travelers are credentialed the right way every time. Credentialing can be a frustrating process on a normal day, but with short staffing and delays across the board it has become a headache for everyone. We work hard to make it as smooth of a process for you as possible and will do everything in our power to get you credentialed quickly.
