We hear it at almost every career fair and trade show: “What makes you different from other travel companies?”
It’s a great question, and one you should ask every travel company you come across. Questions like this are the best way to narrow down a large list of travel therapy companies to the ones you could see yourself traveling with.
So here are some of the things we’ll say, and the reasons you should give us a call!
Cariant is therapist-owned and operated
Our owner is a licensed physical therapist and our department heads are made up of physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists. As your recruiter, I’d have immediate access (literally a floor above the Cariant offices) to permanently employed therapists. Therapy is our focus, and we have multiple avenues to resolve any travel issue, and answer your therapy-related questions.
Cariant is small but MIGHTY
Our parent company, RehabVisions, has been in business for over 30 years. Cariant has been successfully placing and creating relationships with travel therapists for over 10 years. RehabVisions operates rehab departments in 10 states, mostly in the midwest, giving us access to special travel assignments that you won’t find with other companies. Besides staffing for RehabVisions, we have contracts with many of the major therapy providers around the country, expanding our reach to cover needs in all 50 states. Bottom-line, Cariant is well-equipped to find you the perfect travel assignment, and because of our size we can take time to do it right and be available to you every step of the way.
Cariant recruiters have industry experience
Our team of recruiters averages 10 years of experience in medical recruiting. We understand how this industry works! When exploring other companies I would encourage you to ask the recruiter how long they have been in medical recruiting and what they know about therapy. You’ll want our experience on your side, as it plays a major role in conversations with decision makers regarding your placement bids. The more your recruiter knows about the industry, the better they will serve you as a traveling therapist. Plus, as long as you are happy with your recruiter, you’ll work with the same recruiter during your tenure with Cariant.
Cariant is honest and JCAHO certified
We’ll tell you exactly where an assignment is and as much as we know regarding pay, productivity expectations, cancellation clauses, facility name, etc. Be cautious of recruiters who are vague or randomly distribute your resume information without your permission. Cariant is also JCAHO certified. Most legitimate companies get this certification, so make sure you ask other travel staffing companies if they have it.
These are just a few of the many reasons you should give us a call about becoming a Cariant traveler!
